Analyzing the world with the five themes of geography help people better understand connections between people and the earth. One way is by knowing where things are and how to use the world to adapt and live for an example in the Namib Desert people can use surroundings such as using trees to build shelter. Another way is how people in different places move ideas, goods and each other.
To me the most difficult to understand is region because I always mix it up with place and it confuses me because it is human/physical characteristics and area. Place is human/physical characteristics.
I agree with everything that you explained about the 5 themes of geography. You had spelled all the words right, and you were very specific. I love how you gave an example. Great job and keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteAn important piece of information is when you were talking about human environment interaction and how people in the Namib Desert use their surroundings such as trees to build shelter. I agree with you about how you get region and place confused because they both have physical and human characteristics. I wrote the exact same thing on my blog.
